Happy Birthday

Our little Emma Elizabeth is one!

Emma,

I can’t believe my tiny little baby girl is a year old. Where has the time gone? I remember you being born like it were yesterday. And although it was during a very trying and emotional time for our family, you were that little ray of sunshine we needed.

You were so tiny and sweet, a perfect little girl.

Now look at you. You’re growing bigger and bigger by the day. Learning new things and becoming your own little person full of life and wonder.

I love how you are so loving. One of your favorite things is giving hugs and kisses. You love cuddling with Mommy and chasing Daddy around playing “peek-a-boo”.

Some of my most cherished moments are those spent watching you and Jacob laugh and play together.

You love to dance, “help” mommy with laundry, jump on the bed, crawl over anybody who is on the floor, play outside, and most of all: YELL at the top of your lungs!

You have been so much fun. I feel so lucky to be your mama. I can’t wait to see what else you have to offer this world.

I love you little Emmylou!

Love you always,
Mommy, Daddy & Jakey

Wow these are such sweet words. I hope that you will save this or that when she is old enough to appreciate this letter she can still access this through the internet. Jacob and Emma are both so blessed to have you as their mommy!!
I love you all. Happy Birthday Emma! I wish we were with you today in your house where you would be enjoying yourself!
Hugs, Memaw

Happy Birthday Emma! Such a wonderful video of your daughter's first year and I agree with your mom...save it for when Emma is older to really appreciate it as well. Enjoy your day!

Happy Birthday, my sweet Emmy-Lou! I'll never forget your beautiful birth, all of your sweet smiles, and your squishy-sweet legs. B/c I am your "auntie", I will always enjoy your "vocals" (er..screams) even when Mommy and Daddy do not. Your "Uncle Stephen" will continue to encourage them. I will always love and adore you, little princess. Many hugs and kisses to you!
